1) About this Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how Teds Path LLC (“Teds Path,” “we,” “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies (e.g., pixels, local storage, SDKs, web beacons) on our “Services”. For how we handle personal data more generally, see our Privacy Policy. For purposes of this Policy, “Services” means our websites (including www.teds-path.com and any subdomains), learning portals and dashboards, and any other online services or communications we operate that link to this Cookie Policy (including emails that contain pixels).

2) What are cookies?

Cookies are small files stored on your device that help with session management, security, preferences, analytics, and advertising.

3) How we use cookies (categories)

  • Strictly necessary – core site functions, login, security, purchases. (Always on; cannot be switched off.)
  • Functional – remember preferences, improve features.
  • Analytics – understand usage and improve the Services (e.g., Google Analytics/GA4).
  • Advertising/retargeting – measure campaigns and show relevant ads (e.g., Meta/LinkedIn) only if enabled/consented.

  • EEA/UK. We obtain opt-in consent before setting non-essential cookies (e.g., analytics, advertising). You can change or withdraw consent anytime in Cookie Settings.
  • United States. Manage choices in Cookie Settings and via Your Privacy Choices (CPRA/“Do Not Sell or Share”) at https://www.teds-path.com/privacy-choices. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as an opt-out of sale/sharing/targeted advertising where applicable.
  • Canada (PIPEDA & provincial laws). We obtain meaningful consent before setting non-essential cookies. The banner and Cookie Settings let you accept, refuse, or withdraw consent at any time; we keep a record of your choices for compliance.
  • Quebec (Law 25). We: (i) obtain express consent before placing non-essential cookies; (ii) provide a French-language banner and controls; (iii) identify the purposes and categories of third parties involved; and (iv) avoid placing profiling/advertising cookies for users under 14 without parental/guardian consent. If your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as an opt-out of sale/sharing/targeted advertising where applicable. We do not currently respond to legacy Do Not Track (DNT) signals.

  • We keep cookies and similar technologies only as long as needed for the purposes described above.
  • Session cookies expire when you close your browser.
  • Persistent cookies generally last up to 24 months (unless you delete them sooner). Some tools may refresh a cookie when you revisit, which can extend its active life.
  • Third-party cookies/pixels (e.g., from analytics/ads providers) are controlled by those providers; durations may change—see their notices for details.
  • If you withdraw consent or change settings in Cookie Settings, we will stop setting/reading non-essential cookies on that browser/device going forward. Previously set third-party cookies may remain until you clear them in your browser/OS.
  • Where local law imposes shorter maximum lifetimes (e.g., in the EEA/UK and Quebec), we configure our tools to meet those limits.
  • We keep a record of your consent preferences (e.g., accept/deny choices) for compliance purposes.
